Light Of Eleusis is the debut album of the Colombian heavy-psych band A Clear Midnight. It is a fully instrumental album with influences from post rock, post-metal, doom and stoner. The album takes the listener on a journey through four songs: Epojé, Caribdis, Manteia, and Nostos. Inspired by the Elusian Mysteries, a series of rituals practiced in the ancient Greco-Roman world, in which participants acquired mystical wisdom about the meaning of life, the album evokes altered states of mind through harmonies and atmospheric textures while maintaining the heaviness of classic riff-oriented music.
